AIMPLB vice chairman Kalbe Sadiq undergoes surgical procedure at Medanta, Gurugram

LUCKNOW: Vice-president of the (AIMPLB), was operated at Gurugram situated late Tuesday evening after a in his stomach was suspected at a Lucknow based private hospital where he had been admitted.
By Tuesday night, the surgery was successfully conducted by a team of doctors under and Sadiq was said to be recuperating at the medical facility. He is 78-years old.

Sadiq, a senior , was air-lifted to Gurugram early Tuesday morning, after reports of suspected cancerous growth were received. He had been admitted to a private hospital on Sunday.

“He had fallen ill in February, but recovered only to fall ill again. We immediately took him to the hospital where initial tests pointed out at an intestinal infection. He is diabetic and also has a heart condition, but those reports came fine. Later when his condition deteriorated, other tests were run. It was then decided to take him to Medanta,” said his son, Kalbe Sibtain Noori.
